Kay was hired in 1985 as a civil engineering technician following her internship at Haley Ward while she attended the University of Maine in Orono. As the Human Resources Director, Kay is responsible for recruiting and retaining top quality staff by developing, implementing, and monitoring systems for compensation, benefits, employee relations and training and development. As the Corporate Risk Manager, Kay reviews agreements and contracts, as well as secures the appropriate insurance coverages to protect the employees, our clients, and the corporation. As the Health and Safety Coordinator, Kay is responsible for keeping employees safe while they conduct their jobs, and making sure that the company is in compliance with OSHA regulations.
