Catalina Pointe

Deltona, Florida

Project Scope

Catalina Pointe is a build-to-rent residential community located along the Howland Boulevard corridor in Deltona, Florida. The approximately 36.6-acre development will include 279 rental units, featuring one-bedroom duplexes, single-story cottages, and two-story townhomes, along with two clubhouses, swimming pools, dog parks, and other community amenities. Designed to help meet the growing demand for quality rental housing, the development represents an estimated investment of $70 million to $90 million. Construction is progressing through the final phases, including roadway paving and site stabilization, with a phased opening anticipated in late 2026 or early 2027.

Haley Ward provided comprehensive construction surveying services throughout the project, supporting the development from initial layout through final as-built documentation. Our team provided the precise survey data needed to guide construction of the roadways, utilities, drainage infrastructure, sidewalks, and residential buildings while helping keep the project on schedule.

The project presented several challenges, including frequent weather delays, extreme summer temperatures, and an accelerated construction schedule that required a pad-ready site on an aggressive timeline. To meet these demands, Haley Ward worked closely with long-standing client South Florida Grading, mobilizing additional field crews as needed to support construction activities. Our team also adapted quickly to evolving design revisions throughout the project, providing timely survey updates that allowed construction to continue efficiently. Through continued collaboration with South Florida Grading, Certified General Contractors, and the broader project team, Haley Ward’s surveying services continue to support the successful construction of this growing residential community in Central Florida.
