Haley Ward Shines at FWEA Virtual Career Fair 2024
Our team at Haley Ward is thrilled to share the success of our participation in the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) Virtual Career Fair, which took place on March 7, 2024. This virtual event, held from 4-6pm ET, was a platform showcasing six prominent Florida companies and offering a window into career opportunities in the water and wastewater industry.
At Haley Ward, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of environmental stewardship. This event was a great opportunity to showcase our projects in Fellsmere and Fort Myers Beach and to provide insights into the real-world applications of water and wastewater management.
A standout moment of the event was the presentation by our own John Oliver Smith, Regional Manager of Municipal Infrastructure at Haley Ward in Fort Myers, Florida, and Fort Myers based Haley Ward EIT, Abi Del Pozo.
John’s words echoed the sentiment of the day, “It’s inspiring to see so many young engineers eager to get into our industry. We need their innovative thinking as we build the future infrastructure projects in Florida.”
Our commitment to participating in events like the FWEA Virtual Career Fair and exploring innovative outreach methods reflects our dedication to educating and nurturing the next generation of environmental professionals. We aim to contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of Florida’s water infrastructure.
As Haley Ward continues to establish itself as an industry leader in Florida, we eagerly anticipate further initiatives that uphold our dedication to innovation, education, and environmental responsibility. And who knows, with the natural charisma of John and Abi, we might just be tuning into the ‘Haley Ward Engineering Podcast’ very soon! Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Haley Ward!
