Haley Ward Recognized at 2025 Lee BIA HYPE Awards for Exceptional Service
Fort Myers, Florida office was recognized with a Trade Partner of the Year Award
BANGOR, MAINE – Haley Ward, Inc., an employee-owned professional services firm providing engineering, environmental, surveying, planning and architecture services across New England and Florida, is proud to announce that its Fort Myers, Florida office was recognized with a Trade Partner of the Year Award at the 2025 Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) HYPE (Honor Your Partners’ Excellence) Awards, held Thursday, August 7, at The Lucky Screw in downtown Fort Myers.
Hosted annually by the Lee Building Industry Association, the HYPE Awards celebrates companies and individuals who elevate the Lee Builders’ success. Nominees are submitted by peers and clients in recognition of outstanding collaboration, performance, and professionalism across all facets of construction and development. The awards provide a platform to honor those who consistently contribute to the strength and integrity of Southwest Florida’s building community.
Haley Ward’s Fort Myers office, the company’s initial location in Florida, has been instrumental in delivering innovative engineering, environmental consulting, and land surveying services to municipal, commercial, and private-sector clients. Since opening in Fort Myers, the firm has expanded its Florida presence to include offices in Stuart, Port St. Lucie, and Melbourne.
In addition to its many collaborations with builder partners, Haley Ward has been actively involved in major community projects across the region. Since Hurricane Ian in September 2022, our engineering and surveying teams have contributed to the recovery and rebuilding efforts in Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, two of the hardest-hit barrier islands. Each community has unique challenges for infrastructure, permitting, and design, particularly when planning for long-term resilience. With decades of experience in these areas, Haley Ward has supported the City of Sanibel, the Town of Fort Myers Beach, Lee County, and numerous private entities with services such as site design, stormwater management, roadway and utility engineering, environmental permitting, and detailed boundary and topographic surveys. While progress has been substantial, the need for continued work remains, and Haley Ward is proud to play a role in helping these communities recover.
