Haley Ward, Inc. Announces Five New Vice Presidents
BANGOR, MAINE- Haley Ward, Inc. has announced the election of five new Vice Presidents, across its departments and service lines.

The newly elected Vice Presidents are:
Dario D. DiMare, AIA, LEED AP, Building Design Service Line Director, Northborough, Massachusetts
Dario came to Haley Ward in 2023 through the acquisition of his company, Dario Designs, Inc., an architectural firm located in Northborough, Massachusetts. Dario’s vast experience includes work for all the largest media companies in the USA including some of the largest in China, India, South America, Central America, and The Caribbean. He has been published more than 100 times in newspaper and media periodicals and is the recipient of ING’s “Ozzie Newspaper Award”. Dario earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University, and he is a LEED AP licensed to practice Architecture in 49 states.
Chip Haskell, III, PE, Senior Project Manager, Land Development Bangor, Maine
Chip has been with Haley Ward since 2008, starting as an Engineering Technician, and most recently was promoted to Senior Project Manager. He has worked as an Engineer on a variety of projects including road and site design and layout, storm drain and sanitary sewer systems, permitting, and pre and post hydrology studies. He has managed civil engineering projects ranging from small residential projects, to long term multi-million-dollar development projects. Chip earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine.
Jacalyn Gorczynski, LG/PG, Project Manager/Senior Project Geologist, Saco, Maine
Jacalyn came to Haley Ward in 2021 through the acquisition of S.W. Cole where she had served as Senior Geologist. She has extensive experience in environmental consulting and coastal processes including permitting and compliance, environmental assessments, remediation, and coastal zone management and study. She has assisted residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial clients with their geoenvironmental needs and maintains working relationships with state and national regulatory agencies. Jacalyn holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science with a concentration in geology from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Mount Holyoke University.
Johanna Szillery, LSS, Project Manager/Senior Project Scientist, Bangor, Maine
With over 15 years of experience in natural resource and regulatory permitting, Johanna has held diverse roles in academic research, the federal government, and as an environmental consultant. As a Maine Certified Soil Scientist and wetland scientist, she specializes in project strategy, planning, agency consultation, and negotiation, focusing on wetland delineation for clients in Maine and New Hampshire. Johanna’s expertise extends to wetlands, streams, vernal pools, and wildlife habitat identification. Additionally, as a soil scientist, she conducts surveys, suitability assessments, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments across various project scales in Maine. Johanna holds a Master of Science in Plant, Soil, & Environmental Sciences from The University of Maine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Environmental Sciences from Drew University.
Elizabeth Lindsay, PLS, Regional Manager and Senior Project Manager, Stuart, Florida
Elizabeth “Betsy” Lindsay joined Haley Ward in 2022 when her company, Betsy Lindsay, Inc. was acquired by Haley Ward. She has 40 years of experience in land surveying and is a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Her expertise includes computations and coordination for survey related projects including land subdividing, platting, submerged land lease exhibits, environmental field surveys, bathymetric surveys, road right-of-way and construction surveys, boundary surveys, client liaison, and project management. Betsy earned an Associate of Arts in Civil Engineering from Miami Dade Community College.
