Haley Ward, Inc. Acquires Whitman & Bingham Associates
BANGOR, MAINE – Haley Ward, Inc., formerly CES, Inc. is announcing the acquisition of Whitman & Bingham Associates, LLC of Leominster and Chelmsford, Massachusetts, a surveying and civil engineering company serving clients throughout New England.

WBA’s reputation and culture were the right fit for Haley Ward.”
This is the second Massachusetts acquisition for Haley Ward. In 2020, the company, then CES, Inc., acquired Haley and Ward of Maynard, Massachusetts. CES changed its name to Haley Ward in late 2020 to better encompass the entirety of the services it offers and reduce brand confusion around similarly named companies.

When I heard about the positive and successful transition for clients and employees from Scott Miller after his company was acquired, I had confidence that our clients and employees would also be treated the same,” said Whitman & Bingham Principal James Rheault, PLS. “I am looking forward to working with Haley Ward and introducing our clients to the additional services we can now offer like structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, architecture, and natural resources permitting.”
WBA employs 10 staff consisting of registered professional engineers, land surveyors, CADD designers and administrative staff. Employee integration will be overseen by Executive Vice President and Engineering Division Director Travis Noyes, PE and Executive Vice President and Surveying Division Director Jeff Teunisen, PLS.

Rheault and Brian Milisci will continue to serve clients as Senior Project Managers and Supervisors in the Leominster and Chelmsford locations. During the transition, WBA will be known as Whitman & Bingham, a division of Haley Ward, to their current clients.
The acquisition also provides an opportunity for Haley Ward to provide surveying services in Massachusetts and complement the civil engineering work from the Maynard office.
