Haley Ward Expands into Tennessee with Acquisition of OLG Engineering, Inc.

Bangor, ME – Haley Ward, a 100% employee-owned professional engineering, architecture, environmental, planning, and surveying consulting firm, is pleased to announce the acquisition of OLG Engineering, Inc. (Oliver Little Gipson Engineering), a Tennessee-based mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm with offices in Tullahoma and Nashville. Founded in 1995, OLG Engineering has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions across the industrial, commercial, education, healthcare, government, and hospitality sectors.
The acquisition marks Haley Ward’s first expansion beyond New England and Florida, establishing a presence in Tennessee while strengthening the firm’s nationwide capabilities. Both OLG Engineering offices will remain open, and all 22 employees will join Haley Ward, allowing continuity for clients and creating new opportunities for employee-owners.
“Welcoming OLG Engineering to Haley Ward is an exciting milestone in our company’s continued growth,” said Denis St. Peter, President and CEO of Haley Ward. ” Expanding into Tennessee broadens our geographic reach while bringing together two firms that share a commitment to technical excellence, client service, and investing in our people.”
OLG Engineering provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services to clients across a wide range of industries and is licensed to practice in more than 40 states. The addition enhances Haley Ward’s multidisciplinary engineering capabilities and creates new opportunities for collaboration across the firm’s growing network of offices.
“Our growth strategy has always focused on partnering with firms that complement our services and share our values,” said Travis Noyes, PE, Chief Operating Officer of Haley Ward. “OLG Engineering has an impressive history of technical excellence and a collaborative approach to serving clients. Together, we’ll be able to offer even greater resources, expanded expertise, and broader career opportunities while maintaining the local relationships and responsiveness that clients have come to expect.”
Tony Gipson, PE, LEED, AP, OLG Principal Electrical Engineer said the decision to join Haley Ward was driven by the opportunities it creates for both clients and employees. “From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Haley Ward shares the same values that have guided OLG Engineering for more than 30 years. Joining an employee-owned firm that is committed to thoughtful growth gives our team new opportunities for professional development while allowing us to continue serving our clients with the same people they know and trust.”
OLG Engineering was founded by lifelong friends Dean Oliver, Tim Little, and Tony Gipson with a vision of bringing national-level engineering expertise to clients from the heart of Tennessee. Today, the firm’s team serves clients throughout the United States from its Tullahoma headquarters and Nashville office.
The acquisition continues Haley Ward’s strategic growth as an employee-owned firm committed to expanding its geographic reach and technical expertise while preserving the local relationships and culture that define its offices.
