Bangor, ME – Haley Ward, Inc., an employee-owned professional engineering, environmental, surveying, planning, and architecture consulting firm, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Conceptual Design Group, Inc., a Florida-based landscape architecture and planning firm led by Registered Landscape Architect Jeffrey W. Smith, RLA.
The acquisition further strengthens Haley Ward’s growing presence in Florida while expanding the firm’s offerings throughout the Southeast with the addition of landscape architecture services.
Jeffrey W. Smith has practiced planning and landscape architecture in South Florida since 1994 and founded Conceptual Design Group, Inc. in 2000. Over the course of his career, he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from large-scale mixed-use developments to commercial, residential, institutional, recreational, industrial, and nonprofit projects.
Smith brings extensive expertise in master planning, mixed-use and residential site planning, rezoning and conditional use applications, government liaison work, sustainable landscape planting design, water-efficient irrigation systems, hardscape detailing, construction observation, and landscape architectural specifications.
